Spa Therapist and Beauty Therapist

We are seeking bright, friendly and enthusiastic Therapists and Manager to join our growing Thai Spa business in UK.

Spa therapy is a job that requires 100% attention and concentration 100% of the time. Spa therapists are highly caring people with other peoples needs and comfort always in mind. Characteristics include a positive cheery personality, good communication skills, impeccable personal hygiene and the ability to work under own initiative. You will be expected to work to tight schedules and sometimes during unsociable hours. Good Spa therapists will always leave personal problems at home and when entering the spa would walk in to a new customer focused world.

We are seeking therapists! We have a vacancy available at York branch and Manchester branch.

Essential criteria

1. Thai Spa therapist or Beauty therapy to NVQ level 3 standard or equivalent.
2. Friendly, enthusiastic and good communication skills.
3. Well motivated, able to work from own initiative and on time with busy appointment book.
4. Ability to solve problems, make decisions and consult with others.
5. Flexible and adaptable, able to work alone and as part of a group.
6. Basic computer skills: Word, Internet, editing written work, e-mails, etc.
7. Ability to work within agreed quality standards, systems and procedures.
8. A genuine interest in health and beauty and the latest trends.

Desirable criteria

1. Experience working in a busy salon or spa.
2. Qualified and experience in Thai Spa treatments, aromatherapy, reflexology and other holistic treatments, waxing (male/female) etc.
